INTRODUÇÃO

Natural Disasters is the second DLC for Cities Skylines, it gives you scenarios and natural disasters which come with new buildings.

DLC impact on the main Platinum:

  • You have more info fields to see for the “well informed” trophy.
  • there are six unique buildings that DO count towards I want it All they are on the bottom of the list for each milestone unique buildings.

PASSO A PASSO

DLC Step 1: Natural disaster DLC scenarios

Play 10 scenarios of the Natural Disaster DLC

I advice playing Alpine village, this is the first scenario and very easy so replay it 10 times to earn both The Underdog  & We Have A Winner! .

DLC Step 2: Disasters!

Load an old map and trigger the disasters you’ve not yet encountered during the scenarios, to clean up the Natural disaster DLC trophy list.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following:

Thunder and Lightning
Twist and Shout
Run, Bambi!
Drop the Base
It’s heading right for us!
We Need Snorkels!
Shake It Up!
Invincible City
What the…?

GUIA DE TROFÉUS

Either play the scenarios and this will randomly happen or follow my guide for Invincible City.

 Twist and Shout
Experience a tornado

Either play the scenarios and this will randomly happen or follow my guide for Invincible City.

 Run, Bambi!
Experience a forest fire

Either play the scenarios and this will randomly happen or follow my guide for Invincible City.

 Drop the Base
Experience a sinkhole

Either play the scenarios and this will randomly happen or follow my guide for Invincible City.

 It’s heading right for us!
Experience a meteor strike

Either play the scenarios and this will randomly happen or follow my guide for Invincible City.

 We Need Snorkels!
Experience a tsunami

Either play the scenarios and this will randomly happen or follow my guide for Invincible City.

 Shake It Up!
Experience an earthquake

Either play the scenarios and this will randomly happen or follow my guide for Invincible City.

 Invincible City
Have ten disasters hit the same city

Start a new city or load an existing one (even before the DLC came out started games will work). Navigate to the “Disaster” building menu with  and select it  Inside the disaster menu navigate to the far right (Meteor icon) with  where you can select the disaster you want to trigger with  and select it with . Now you got a crosshair to aim the disaster impact, confirm with  now a count down will show up, this is the countdown for the next trigger not for when the disaster happen. This is depending on the disaster but all will happen within a few weeks.

I’m a bit slow in the video, as I wanted to show it takes a bit of time before the disaster actually happens and I did the meteor twice but you will have to repeat disasters to get to 10. I didn’t do the Tsunami, because the map wasn’t fit for it but you can do it if you play on a map with an ocean:

 The Underdog
Lose 5 scenarios

Each scenario has different losing criteria but the first scenario “Alpine Village” takes about 1 min. Start the map and de-zone everything after that demolish everything what is left because for some reason, 3 hobo’s live in the park and someone sleeps under his desk in the power plant so just the residential zones is not enough.

I’m a bit slow in the video but you get the idea:

You can restart 5 times and the trophy will pop for you.

 We Have A Winner!
Win 5 scenarios

When you start a new game you can select “New map” or “New Scenario”. Pick new scenario. Here, you can pick the scenario you want to play, the win and lose conditions are listed on the right under goals. During the game you can see your progress by holding  and open the milestones menu. Navigate to “scenario goals: with .

Alpine village is the first scenario and very easy so replay it 5 times to get the trophy.

Win:

  • 250,000 people transported using public transport

Lose:

  • Play 350 game weeks
  • Population is less than 1
  • Money is less than 0

Events:

  • 4 weeks after 2nd tile is purchased – Meteor – 8.6
  • Week 30 – Meteor – 10.0
  • week 100 – Forest fire – 5.5
  • 2 weeks after 4k industry tiles build – Meteor – 6.0

Winning Tips:

Grow the city to 1,500 population and create lots of buses. gives +/- 300/500 transfers a week. Grow your city until metro and build at least 5 stops per tile. gives +/- 1500 transfers a week. Make sure you fix your lines after meteor impacts. 15,000 to 19,000 population is enough, just set it up to approx 2k transfers a week and let the time run. bigger city gives more issues. I finished with only 2 meteor impacts and 18,500 population. Once you’ve transported 250.000 people using public transport a pop-up will appear pausing the game so you can let it run on the back ground.

The following, impacts the main game:

Unique buildings:

– Sparkly Unicorn Rainbow Park (8,500 population) – Win all 5 scenarios that come with the Natural Disasters DLC.
– Sphinx Of Scenarios (6,500 population) – Win any 3 Scenarios

 What the…?
Experience a special disaster

The special disaster in question is the “Chirpynado” but unfortunately it only has a 0.3% chance of spawning. It’s a tornado with blue birds and it upgrades your buildings but when the warning comes, it will state “lucky you” so you know up front you’ll get it. The trophy will pop once the tornado lands.

In the  menu, scroll down to “In-Game Settings” and make sure you have “Use random disasters” set to On and “Random Disaster frequency” set to Full.
