INTRODUÇÃO

Welcome to Devil May Cry 5’s Trophy Guide And Roadmap. First I’d like to say thank you and I hope these trophies doesn’t scare you. This game is challenging but it forgives you more than it’s previous installments so tough it out and practice because it’s very rewarding and fun. I will breakdown how to tackle this hard Platinum below. Spoiler warning! I’m not really spoiling you!

PASSO A PASSO

Step 1: Clear the game on Human or Devil Hunter difficulty.

It doesn’t matter which difficulty you choose because you must clear them both anyway. During your first play-through, focus on collecting all the Blue and Purple Orbs. You want to have good start with Max Health and Devil Trigger. If possible, go for other miscellaneous trophies as well. The chapter specific ones may take a few attempts but they’re very straightforward.

After completing this step, the following trophies should unlock:

Let’s Rock!
Showtime!
Fall from Grace
Protect the People
Where the Red Orbs Grow
Reunion
Backroad
Break a Leg
End of the Line
Share the Pain
Light in the Darkness
Eagle-Eyed
This Ain’t Over
Don’t Mess with the Best
The Qliphoth
Each In His Own Way
Gotta Hurry
Slick Moves
Obedience Training
Back to Life
Man on a Mission
Battle for the Ages
Not Too Shabby
Steppin’ up the Style
Seriously Stylish Slaying!
Secrets Exposed
The Quick and the Dead
I Believe I Can Fly
Physical Perfection
The Devil’s Own
A New Job
Unarmed and Dangerous
Pet Protection

Step 2: Truly defeat Urizen in Prologue or Mission 08.

After clearing the game, you’ll be allowed to use devil breakers during Prologue mission. Previously, you had no choice but to lose and continue through your play-through. You’re now fully equipped to handle this boss. After clearing the game you should have developed a bit of skill to survive this boss fight. Plus, you’ll unlocked Nero’s DT to deal massive damage. To make it a little easier, purchase level 3 charged shot from Nico. This takes a lot of damage and you can spam move to defeat Urizen effortlessly.

After completing this step, the following trophy should unlock:

Well I’ll Be Damned

Step 3: Clear all difficulty settings: Son Of Sparda, Dante Must Die, Heaven and Hell & Hell and Hell.

This will take some time but the game is fun. Practice in the void if you run into an enemy that keeps defeating you. Like any game, the more you fail the better you’ll become. You can save completing Hell and Hell mode for last since that requires a massive amount of patience. There are videos here to help guide you on the proper path.

After completing this step, the following trophies should unlock:

Doing Daddy Proud
Dance with the Devil
Stairway to Heaven
Highway to Hell

Step 4: Clean up!

You should already have a decent level of skill by now. You should know what combos and weapons that are effective against all enemies. It’s now time to go after the hardest trophy by completing every mission with a rank S on every difficulty. Also, finish collecting any trophies you haven’t unlocked yet. Some of the time consuming ones should unlock without you realizing it. Completing this step will unlock that .

After completing this step, the following trophies should unlock:

Hell of a Hunter
Worthy of Legend
Nothing’s Impossible
Be the Legend
Demon Breeder
Jackpot!
Demon Destroyer
Rearm and Repeat
Dante The Gambler
Who Needs Weapons Anyway?
Devil May Cry

Step 5: Bloody Palace DLC – Clear this mode with all characters.

Bloody Palace is unlocked after you’ve completed the game for the first time. You can play this at anytime, however you should wait until you cleared Dante Must Die mode. You’ will have super costumes for unlimited DT and special moves that restock for massive damage. There is only 3 playable characters available for this mode.

Once you have cleared Bloody Palace with all characters you’ll unlock the following trophy:

Path of the Conquerors

In conclusion, this game has 20 missions plus a prologue. Including several levels that can be played with different characters. I suggest trying your best with acquiring S Ranks for every mission. The more you acquire, the less you have to clean up. Always be aware of this goal and you’ll do great and finally, remember it’s just a game. No need to stress yourself over it.

DLC: BLOODY PALACE

GUIA DE TROFÉUS

 Devil May Cry
Unlock all trophies.

Earn all the non-DLC trophies, to get this one.

 Let’s Rock!
Complete the game on Human mode.

Human mode is equivalent to Easy mode. Enemies have lower health and are less aggressive. You’ll also take less damage here so being reckless is forgivable. This difficulty is for newer players to the Devil May Cry Franchise. The trophy will unlock after clearing all missions under this difficulty.

 Showtime!
Complete the game on Devil Hunter mode.

Devil Hunter mode is equivalent to Normal mode. Enemies have double health from Human mode and are a bit more aggressive. You’ll take a little more in damage this time but it’s in forgivable parameters. This difficulty is for experience players whom played this franchise before or finished Human difficulty. The trophy will unlock after clearing all missions under this difficulty.

 Doing Daddy Proud
Complete the game on Son of Sparda mode.

Son of Sparda mode is equivalent to Hard mode. This becomes more challenging with enemies doing double damage and attacking more quickly. Different enemies will spawn and some of them will be tougher than the originals. The game is less forgiving during this play-through so you have to play smart here. This mode is for more experienced players. The trophy will unlock after clearing all missions under this difficulty.

 Dance with the Devil
Complete the game on Dante Must Die mode.

Dante Must Die mode is equivalent to Very Hard mode. Enemies are similar to Son of Sparda mode and are very aggressive. However, once enemies reach 25% health or after enough time enemies spawn, they’ll go in devil trigger (DT) mode. In DT mode, enemies have 4x health from Devil Hunter and takes more damage from you. A.I. becomes smarter and are less prone to stagger which limits your capabilities of handling them. Bosses are even more of a pain and can kill you within 2-3 hits. Overall, it’s straightforward and all you need is patience to clear this mode. The trophy will unlock after clearing all missions under this difficulty.

 Stairway to Heaven
Complete the game on Heaven or Hell mode.

Heaven or Hell mode is the easiest difficulty. The gimmick here is everything’s dead in one hit/shot. Yes, you’ll die in one hit but so does everything else. Fun and pure speed mode to clear. The trophy will unlock after clearing all missions under this difficulty setting.

 Highway to Hell
Complete the game on Hell and Hell mode.

Hell and Hell mode will make or break you. Plenty of trophies hunters will avoid this game simply because of this trophy. If you made it this far with clearing Dante Must Die mode, you can clear this mode as well. The difficulty is for flawless and perfection seekers. You will die in one hit but your enemies will not. They are equivalent to Son of Sparda mode with a bit more aggressive A.I. You’ll get 4 chances to clear a mission. The trophy will unlock after clearing all missions under this difficulty setting.

 Fall from Grace
Clear the Prologue Mission.

Story-related, cannot be missed.

This mission is a win-lose, because you’ll still clear it by either winning or losing. The trophy will unlock after clearing this mission.

 Protect the People
Defeat all enemies in Mission 01.

Plain and simple. You must defeat all enemies during mission 01 to unlock trophy here is one enemy that will disappear if you don’t kill it quickly (Red Empusa) so is the only one you have to worry about. It should be around the very first Blue Orb. As long as you pay attention to your surroundings and kill all tentacles, you’ll unlock the trophy.

 Where the Red Orbs Grow
Collected Red Orbs from an unexpected spot in Mission 02.

This is near the beginning of the mission. You’ll progress after your first encounter with a group of enemies. You will notice the pathway will split where tentacles trying to block your way. On the other side, an enemy spawns (Red Empusa). Search the area where it spawned at and you’ll notice a hole in the building you can jump to. Platform it and you’ll see red orbs to gather. The trophy will unlock after getting all those hidden red orbs.

 Reunion
Clear Mission 03.

Story-related trophy, cannot be missed.

The trophy unlocks immediately after clearing Mission 03.

 Backroad
Destroy a certain wall in Mission 04.

Your character switches to V. Later in the mission after you’ve pass the broken bridge you’ll be ambushed by enemies as you progress. There is a wall with some graffiti on it that you’ll notice once you’ve entered the area. You’ll have to summon Nightmare and it’ll break this wall. You need 3 bars of (DT) in order to summon Nightmare. The trophy will unlock during the special scene of Nightmare breaking through it to help you.

 Break a Leg
Fend off a menace from above in Mission 05.

This menace is actually the leg from Gilgamesh that Nero is currently fighting. You’ll encounter this leg in 3 different areas which gives you enough opportunity to force it away. Use Nightmare to beat it faster. The trophy unlocks soon as you force Gilgamesh leg away.

 End of the Line
Clear Mission 06.

Story-related, cannot be missed.

This is a boss only mission so you’ll clear it pretty quick. You will switch back to Nero as he fights Gilgamesh. The trophy will unlock after clearing the mission.

 Share the Pain
Clear Mission 07 with both Nero and V.

This trophy requires two playthroughs to unlock. Nero and V will go there separate ways. You are required to choose who do you want to play as before mission starts. After clearing it, go to mission select and play mission again. This time choose the other character you didn’t play as first.

 Light in the Darkness
Clear Mission 08.

Story-related, cannot be missed.

This trophy will unlocks after clearing Mission 08. You’ll still clear mission even if you lose to Urizen when he’s standing.

 Eagle-Eyed
Destroy a certain wall in Mission 09.

After your first encounter with Behemoth and its group of enemies, you will run into a dead end. However, you’ll notice a gold orb is hiding behind it. Summon Nightmare here and the wall shall be destroyed. The trophy unlocks right away.

 This Ain’t Over
Clear Mission 10.

Story-related, cannot be missed.

Your character finally switches to Dante. The trophy will unlock after clearing Mission 10.

 Don’t Mess with the Best
Use proper timing to get a leg up in a close-quarters battle against the boss in Mission 11.

You can do this with any style of Dante. You can either perfectly Royalguard this boss or Stinger him as soon as it attacks you but you must hit or deflect his sword to the point of making it stagger backwards. Sometimes 3 successful knockbacks can get the job done. The Trophy will unlock after a successful counter/stagger.

 The Qliphoth
Clear Mission 12.

Story-related, cannot be missed.

Dante’s rematch with Urizen. Defeat him and trophy will unlock after clearing mission 12.

 Each In His Own Way
Clear Mission 13 with Nero, V, and Dante.

This is the same as Mission 07 but instead of 2 playthroughs, you will have to go through mission 3 times. This mission is almost the easiest battle oriented mission in the game so you’ll clear it pretty quickly and you might even co-op with some skilled player to lighten your load. The Trophy will unlock after clearing Mission 13 with Dante, V and Nero.

 Gotta Hurry
Clear Mission 14.

Story-related, cannot be missed.

This mission is the end of V’s divergence. You must fight 3 bosses to get to your familiars. Cavaliere Angelo is the left statue. Artemis is the center statue. Goliath is the right statue. Before each fight you can decide which familiar you want.

The easy way is: 1st fight center statue Artemis, pick Griffon familiar > 2nd fight right statue, pick shadow so you can double team Goliath boss > 3rd fight left statue Cavalier, you will have all familiars to take this boss down.

 Slick Moves
Proceed with caution and avoid unneeded damage in Mission 15.

This is hinting at the mechanics of avoiding unnecessary fights. Only fight enemies in sealed/closed off locations. Try to avoid less damage as much as possible. You can still take damage but not much. It’s better to go for this trophy on easier difficulties since the enemies are much easier to deal with. The mission is long because it has multiple pathways in this divergence. The trophy will unlock after clearing mission with less damage taken.

 Obedience Training
Go on the offensive without relying on brute force in the Mission 16 boss battle.

All you need to do is stun boss. Give him enough damage to make him fall then attack all heads and arms. It doesn’t matter what tactics you use, just get it done quickly. Try this on easier difficulties since the boss is more likely to fall. The trophy will unlock if you successfully stunned the boss.

 Back to Life
Clear Mission 17.

Story-related, cannot be missed.

Another boss-oriented mission. Dante travels through the divergence to battle Devil Urizen. This boss can be very annoying if you’re not quick at delivering him enough heavy damage. Not only does he teleport everywhere, he’ll distract you with many energy blasts to evade. The best way to handling him is to constantly stay on him. Try your best to not stay on the ground for long and continue moving. Attack his upper body and use ‘enemy step’ constantly. When he does a taunt from far away, run to the opposite end of the field. This taunt can trigger his AoE (Area of Effect) attack 50% of the time so always be wary of it. The trophy will unlock after defeating Devil Urizen.

 Man on a Mission
Clear Mission 18.

Story-related, cannot be missed.

Skip most enemy fights and only focus on V’s familiars. These are the battles you should participate in:

1) Griffon (solo)
2) Shadow (solo)
3) Shadow and Griffon (Griffon shows up a bit later)
4) Nightmare + Shadow + Griffon

 Battle for the Ages
Clear Missions 19 and 20 without using continues (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell).

It may be difficult for beginners but after playing it a few times, you’ll learn these missions well. For beginners, it’s better to use long range attacks against this boss. Double Kalina Ann or Dr. Faust does significant amounts of damage on Vergil. Video shows strategy for beginners. The Trophy will unlock after clearing both Mission 19 and 20 with no continues.

 Not Too Shabby
Perform a Stylish Rank S combo.

See Seriously Stylish Slaying!

 Steppin’ up the Style
Perform a Stylish Rank SS combo.

See Seriously Stylish Slaying!

 Seriously Stylish Slaying!
Perform a Stylish Rank SSS combo.

To reach SSS rank, you must build enough stylish combos. From D < C < B < A < S < SS < SSS. The best character to pull this off is V. If you have Auto command turned on (by holding down ), V’s familiars will pull off some crazy moves by spamming  and  which easily ranks up your stylish meter. The Trophy will unlock after reaching SSS.

 Secrets Exposed
Clear all secret missions.

There are a total of 12 secret missions and they can be found by red patterns on walls or floors. You have to line of camera to make that pattern complete which will send you into another dimension to complete. Most secret missions can easily be found by playing the game. They’re out in the open but some are hidden well. The Trophy will unlock after clearing all 12 secret missions.

Secret Mission Objectives

01. Destroy all enemies within the time limit
02. Do not let any Red Empusa escape
03. Collect all of the Red Orbs
04. Eliminate all the demons without taking a hit
05. Get to the goal without touching the ground
06. Eliminate all demons within 20 seconds
07. Aim for the enemy’s weak point, and take them down with a single bullet
08. Maintain an S Stylish Rank
09. Stay in the air for more than 15 seconds
10. Get to the goal without touching the ground
11. Maintain an S Stylish Rank
12. Collect a certain amount of Red Orbs

The following video, shows all the secret missions in chronological order:

 The Quick and the Dead
Defeat 5 enemies in 1 second.

The easiest way to unlock this trophy is by playing Heaven and Hell difficulty. Everything dies in 1 hit so killing 5 enemies in 1 second is easy. Another way is clear the game. During credit sequence you’ll be tasked to kill enemies. For some reason they are much easier to kill than in actually playthrough. There is a really easier way. This requires you to have Dr. Faust equipped and you must purchase the secret ability that kills all enemies that spawn. It soesn’t matter the difficulty, however you’ll lose 150,000 red orbs to perform this deadly skill. Another way is to use the Sin Devil Trigger Dante (+) move will clear entire map.

 Well I’ll Be Damned
Wield overwhelming power to exact an unexpected conclusion.

Beating Urizen during Prologue or Mission 08 will unlock this trophy. It’s better to beat Urizen in Prologue which is way easier. If you still cannot defeat him, wait until you unlock Heaven and Hell difficulty so you can kill him in one shot. After defeating him, you’ll unlock secret ending and trophy. After clearing the game, you’ll be allowed to use devil breakers during prologue mission. Previously, you had no choice but to lose and continue through your playthrough. You’re now fully equipped to handle this boss but to make it a little easier, purchase level 3 charged shot from Nico. This takes a lot damage and you can spam move to defeat Urizen effortlessly.

 Hell of a Hunter
Clear all missions with S rank.

Pretty straightforward. You will unlock this trophy by clearing all missions and Prologue with a S rank.

See Worthy of Legend for more information.

 Worthy of Legend
Clear all missions with S rank on all difficulties except Heaven or Hell.

This is the hardest trophy in the game and you’ll be going for the above trophy Hell of a Hunter as well. This will test your patience and you must have some skill to survive without using continues. All difficulties must be cleared with a S rank. The best way to get this trophy is to clear every mission with no damage. You’ll receive a S rank 90% of the time. Even though you don’t have enough stylish points, the bonuses you receive will determine your overall score. Another way is to get really good at reaching high stylish rating SSS during fights. I will provide combos/inputs below that will help get you in the S rating easily. As long as you remain above S rank requirement, you can die at least twice so when you clear stage you’ll still receive that S rank.

Bonus and Penalties:

Using Super Costumes – x0.2 = Taking 80% of your score from you which means no S rank.
Using Auto Assist – x0.8 = Taking 20% of your score from you. You can still get a S Rank but under harsh conditions.
Using checkpoints – void = Nothing happens but you’ll receive no bonus. S rank is still possible
Using checkpoints x3 – x0.5 = Takes 50% of score from you which means no S rank. Don’t use checkpoints more than twice.
Using Gold and Red Orbs = You’ll be penalized by how many you use. The more you use the greater the penalty.
Using No continues + x1.2 = This will add 20% more bonus to your score. This should be your goal for every mission cleared.
No Damage + x2.0 = This will double your score likely resulting in a S-Rank.

S Rank Requirements (stylish points) for each difficulty:

Human – 4,000
Devil Hunter – 5,000
Son Of Sparda – 5,500
Dante Must Die – 6,000
Heaven And Hell – 1,500

 Physical Perfection
Upgrade your vitality gauge to max.

To unlock this trophy you must collect all the Blue Orbs in the game. I have provided a video to show where all Blue Orb and Secret Mission locations are. You will have to buy six of them from Nico’s Devil May Cry shop.

 The Devil’s Own
Upgrade your Devil Trigger Gauge to max.

To unlock this trophy you must collect all the Purple Orbs in the game. Same as before, I have video below to show where all purple orbs are located. You’ll have to buy some them from Nico’s Devil May Cry shop.

 A New Job
Accept a new job from Morrison after the Red Grave incident.

During the credits scene after clearing the game, you will have to fight off enough enemies with Nero to trigger a special cutscene. During Nero’s credits, if you’re successful, you’ll hear Nico say positive things about you. Like “Way to go”. Trophy will unlock after special cutscene with Lady and Trish.

 Jackpot!
Collect more than 1,000,000 Red Orbs total.

This trophy will unlock after collecting more than 1,000,000 Red Orbs. I got this without trying and if you’re going for S-Ranks, eventually it’ll pop up. You can use the Infinite Red Orb Trick to unlock them quickly.

 Demon Destroyer
Defeat 1,000 enemies total.

I got this during my 3rd playthrough. The trophy unlocks after your 1,000th kill. If you want this trophy quickly, play through the Bloody Palace a few times.

 Rearm and Repeat
Collect more than 100 Devil Breakers during missions.

This is another trophy you don’t have to pay attention to. It will unlock after picking up your 100 Devil Breaker but if you want to get this quickly, simply play the Bloody Palace with Nero. Some levels have rest stops with 10-20 Devil Breakers to pick up. Simply pick one up and destroy another. Rinse and Repeat.

 Dante The Gambler
Use more than 500,000 Red Orbs total with Dr. Faust.

This is a very easy trophy. You can get this done buy purchasing Dr. Faust 4 from Nico. This is an ultimate move that requires you to use 150,000 Red Orbs per use. Perform the move 4 times and you’ll unlock trophy. The Dr. Faust weapon is unlocked during Mission 13.

 Who Needs Weapons Anyway?
Clear Mission 11 without equipping a weapon set for Dante (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell).

You will need to clear Dante Must Die difficulty in order to unlock this trophy easily. However, if you’re skilled enough, simply wait until you’ve beaten Son of Sparda mode. Once beaten, you’ll unlock Dante’s special skill Irregular Full Custom. This will allow to unequip all your weapons. For pros, use royal guard and clear the mission this way. For those whom want it easy, use super costume. Sin Devil Trigger Dante can clear all maps. Trophy unlocks after clearing mission without equipping any weapons.

 Unarmed and Dangerous
Beat Mission 07 without any starting Devil Breakers equipped (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell).

The tedious way to get this trophy is to just jump in Mission 07 without equipping nothing for Nero. The easier way is to clear the game and you’ll unlock DT for Nero. Your Devil Bringer will destroy enemies like your Devil Breakers would. Trophy unlocks after clearing mission without Devil Breakers equipped.

 Pet Protection
Clear Mission 05 without V’s demons getting stalemated (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell).

The best way to get this trophy is to play on Human mode and purchase most of V’s skills to have your familiars last longer against enemies. As long as Nightmare is summon, your familiars are invincible. The boss fight is where this trophy can be out of reach. However, use Auto Assists (hold ) to help take care of the boss quickly.
