INTRODUÇÃO

Far Cry 5 is the fifth entry in the acclaimed FPS open world series from Ubisoft. This time the series takes you to Hope County, Montana where you have to fight against a crazed religious cult hellbent on ‘cleansing’ the region. This entry is similar to Far Cry 3 and 4 with some subtle differences such as a lack of radio towers, reduced crafting emphasis and a more simplified progression system.

PASSO A PASSO

Step 1 – Arcade Mode

Before you can access Arcade Mode you need to liberate Dutch’s Island in the main game, this effectively serves as the games tutorial and will only take around an hour at the most. Cash and perks earned in Arcade will give you a nice head-start for the main game and also reduces the risk of Arcade Competitor in particular becoming harder to obtain, though all Arcade multiplayer trophies can can be boosted with 2 players.

By the end of this step you will have unlocked:

The Spark
ARCADE Player
ARCADE Hero
ARCADE Hunter
ARCADE Enthusiast
ARCADE Competitor

Step 2 – Complete the game, trophy related side missions

During this step. complete the main game, which involves fully liberating all regions. You will likely unlock several miscellaneous trophies along the way. Make sure to not spend too much cash on weapons and such so you have enough for Big Spender. Complete 3 quests in co-op with a friend here as well.

By the end of this step you will have unlocked:

You Are Wrath
Special Delivery
Only You
Together Forever
Saving Deputy Hudson
Blissful
Saving Sheriff Whitehorse
Saving Deputy Pratt
A Wing And A Prayer
Sewer Rat
Peachy Keen
Kicking the Hornet’s Nest
Science Fact
What Now?
Hitting it Off

Step 3 – Cleanup

In this step, go for all other trophies you didn’t achieve in Steps 1 and 2. You will have likely already acquired some of them naturally if you explore, complete side missions, liberate outposts and so on.

We Always Had Faith In You
Obtain all the Trophies.

Collect all other trophies for a shiny new platinum!

 The Spark
Complete the game intro by liberating Dutch’s island (Solo Campaign only).

Story related and cannot be missed

This trophy is unlocked upon liberating Dutch’s Island, which serves as the Prologue to the game. You need 2,000 resistance points in total to liberate it, and the game will introduce you to outposts and other activities that will reward you with points.

 You Are Wrath
Be deemed the Sin of Wrath (Solo Campaign only).

Story related and cannot be missed

This trophy is unlocked during ‘The Confession’ quest in John’s region; you will automatically be thrust in to this quest once you reach Resistance level 3.

 Special Delivery
Ensure a baby’s safe passage into this world (Solo Campaign only).

For this trophy. you first need to complete Nick Rye’s quest line in John’s Region to get him as a Gun for Hire and also have liberated John’s Region. Once you have done the aforementioned tasks. Kim Rye will call you and give you the side mission ‘Special Delivery’ located at Rye & Sons Aviation.

This mission involves you driving to the clinic as fast as possible within the time limit; it’s very easy and shouldn’t pose a challenge.

Note: You may need to have Nick as your active Gun for Hire before Kim will radio you for the quest; this was the case for me.

 Only You
Sucessfully complete the First Trial (Solo Campaign only).

Story related and cannot be missed

You will unlock this trophy upon completing ‘The World is Weak’ quest in Jacob’s Region. After accumulating some resistance points, you will automatically be placed in to this mission after being hunted down by a capture party (which is unavoidable).

 Walk The Path
Discover the Bliss (Solo Campaign only).

Story related and cannot be missed

You will unlock this trophy upon completing ‘The Bliss’ quest in Faith’s Region. After accumulating enough resistance points, Faith will appear before you. Talk to her and you will enter the second dream sequence with her to start the quest.

 Together Forever
Get to the End (Solo Campaign only).

Story related and cannot be missed

Once you have liberated all 3 regions, you will be able to confront Joseph Seed at his church to start the final mission.

When given the choice, choose to ‘Resist’ and complete the ensuing boss fight. After the car escape at the end of the game, the trophy will unlock. If you choose ‘Walk Away’ instead, the trophy will not unlock, but you can replay the final mission again regardless.

 Saving Deputy Hudson
Save Deputy Hudson (Solo Campaign only).

Story related and cannot be missed

Once you have liberated John’s Region, you will be given a new quest, ‘The Quality of Mercy’. The trophy will unlock after completing the quest.

 Blissful
Save the Marshal from the Bliss (Solo Campaign only).

Story related and cannot be missed

After acquiring enough Resistance points, Faith will appear before you again and you will enter a third dream sequence. Complete this to unlock the trophy.

 Saving Sheriff Whitehorse
Save Sheriff Whitehorse (Solo Campaign only).

Story related and cannot be missed

Once you have liberated Faith’s Region, you will be given a new quest, ‘Walk the Path’. The trophy will unlock after completing the quest.

 Saving Deputy Pratt
Save Deputy Pratt (Solo Campaign only).

Story related and cannot be missed

Once you have liberated Jacob’s Region, you will be given a new quest, ‘Casualties of War’. The trophy will unlock after completing the quest.

 Science Fact
Put aside skepticism and help Larry (Solo Campaign only).

For this trophy, you need to complete an optional quest line for an NPC named Larry. He is located at ‘Parker Laboratories’ just west of Fall’s End, in John’s Region. Once you find Larry and free him from the electric barrier by turning off the three generators, he will give you some quests to complete.

  • Free Larry
  • The Hero’s Journey
  • Close Encounters
  • Out of this World

After finishing the final quest, Larry will disappear, unlocking the trophy. He also leaves behind a unique weapon called the Magnopulser.

 Ain’t No Wallflower
Who are these people? Speak to 50 citizens of Hope County (Solo Campaign only).

You need to speak to 50 different people in Hope County. You will come across plenty of people as you play, including quest-givers, so just make sure to speak to everyone you come across until the trophy unlocks.

I recommend always speaking to people as you are liberating them, as they will reveal the locations of Prepper Stashes and Outposts, which is very useful.

If you are somehow struggling to find a lot of people, then the Hope County Jail, Fall’s End and Wolf’s Den all have plenty of people to initiate dialogue with.

 Been There, Done That
Complete all Hunting & Fishing Challenges (Campaign only).

There are a total of 28 Hunting and Fishing challenges that correspond to 16 animals and 12 fish. You can track this by pressing  > Challenges >  under the hunting section, you must complete all of these challenges for the trophy, it is in your best interest to do so as they also award perk points.

I would advise hunting any animal you happen to come across naturally. Do not actively hunt down animals until you unlock Boomer the dog in John’s Region, as he will mark nearby animals making this considerably easier. You will capture every type of fish whilst going for the Hope County Master Angler trophy as well.

Do note that animal spawns can be somewhat sporadic. The hunting areas marked on the map are general and they can spawn within 100-200 metres around the area; if you have Boomer with you, he will sniff out and mark nearby animals. Fast travel back and forth between areas if you can’t find any animals. You can also use the ‘Ultimate Hunter’ homeopathic to temporarily mark nearby animals as well.

Animals

  • Deer
  • Pronghorn
  • Elk
  • Caribou
  • Bison
  • Moose
  • Hare (you can find plenty of these at the Harris residence in John’s region)
  • Boar
  • Skunk
  • Wolverine
  • Wolf
  • Cougar
  • Black Bear
  • Grizzly Bear
  • Turkey
  • Eagle

Fish

  • Kokanees
  • Artic Grayling
  • Golden Trout
  • Rock Bass
  • Smallmouth
  • Largemouth
  • Bull Trout
  • Lake Trout
  • Rainbow Trout
  • Chinook
  • Pallid Sturgeon
  • Paddlefish

Below are video and text guides from PowerPyx detailing the locations of every animal and fish in the game.

Far Cry 5 All Animals & Fish Locations (Hunting Spots, Hard Fishing Spots)

 Liberator
Liberate 5 locations from the Project at Eden’s Gate (Campaign only).

For this trophy, you need to liberate any 5 outposts out of 20 in the game. I recommend doing so undetected for the extra cash bonus of $1000. which will help with Big Spender. Use a silenced Sniper Rifle and a Bow for the best results.

There is 1 outpost on Dutch’s Island, 4 outposts in Jacob’s Region, 7 in John’s and 8 in Faith’s. You can access all of them as soon as you finish the prologue, but they won’t be marked on the map unless NPCs reveal the locations or you use a guide.

FAR CRY 5 – ALL OUTPOST LOCATIONS

Note that if you choose to liberate all 20 outposts, then you can reset them so you can liberate them again to farm for cash, perk challenges or other trophies.

 Scavenger
Follow the clues to the end of 3 treasure hunts (Solo Campaign only).

For this trophy, you need to complete 3 Prepper Stashes. They are marked on the map by a green diamond icon when you are close to them, or have the locations revealed by talking to people or from reading documents. You will no doubt come across many of them naturally.

There are a total of 27 in the game and I strongly recommend going out of your way for at least some of them to get the cash and perk point rewards. For the locations of each stash.

 What Now?
Complete 3 Side Missions in Hope County (Solo Campaign only).

Side Missions can be found all across Hope County, most commonly in outposts that you have liberated. You will complete 3 side missions naturally as part of Science Fact and Hope County Master Angler, so you don’t need to go out of your way for this.

The Greatest SOB That Ever Lived
Laugh in danger’s face by executing a Clutch Nixon stunt in each region (Solo Campaign only).

There are a total of 8 Clutch Nixon stunts in the game: 3 in Faith’s Region, 3 in Jacob’s and 2 in John’s. They involve driving or flying through rings on a time limit. You must complete one in each of the 3 regions, and you will be rewarded with cash, extra vehicles, resistance points and of course the trophy as well.

None of them are difficult at all and you will probably succeed on your first try. Below is a text and video guide from PowerPyx showing the locations of each stunt.

 Pack Rat
Grab 1 of each collectible item. You never know when it will come in handy (Solo Campaign only).

There are quite few collectibles compared to previous entries. There are 6 types and you only need to grab 1 of each. You may come across some of them naturally.

Collectibles

  • Baseball Cards
  • Comic Books
  • Vietnam Lighters
  • Bobbleheads
  • Vinyl Crates
  • Whiskey Casks

 A Wing And A Prayer
Fly Nick’s plane. Hopefully you’re not afraid of heights (Solo Campaign only).

For this trophy, you need to help Nick Rye at Rye and Sons Aviation in John’s region, located southwest of Fall’s End.

While this is not missable, it’s possible to liberate John’s Region without completing Nick’s story quest, but you can undertake this at any point in the game. The trophy will unlock upon completing the ‘Wingman’ quest.

 Troublemaker
Discover the joys of destroying cult property in every region (Solo Campaign only).

You need to destroy one of each type of cult property in the 4 regions, including Dutch’s Island. Each region has its own type of property for you to destroy.

Dutch’s Region – Shrines
Jacob’s Region – Wolf Beacons
John’s Region – Silos
Faith’s Region – Shrines

It’s highly likely that you will come across each type of property naturally

 Sewer Rat
Destroy a cult water treatment pump and make them thirst for revenge (Solo Campaign only).

This trophy is unlocked by completing the ‘Clean Water Act’ quest line in Faith’s Region.

It is actually possible to liberate Faith’s Region without undertaking this quest. You may not receive a radio call giving you the quest (this happened to me). If this happens, simply go to the water treatment plant and the mission will automatically start; the location is in the screenshot below.

 Peachy Keen
Bait Peaches into going back home (Solo Campaign only).

Like with Sewer Rat, it’s possible to Liberate Faith’s region without undertaking this quest, but you can do so at any time. The mission is available at Peaches Taxidermy in Faith’s Region; the trophy will unlock after completing it.

 Kicking the Hornet’s Nest
Trigger the wrath of a Herald (Solo Campaign only).

Story related and cannot be missed

This trophy will unlock upon reaching Resistance Level 4 in any region. This requires 10,000 Points in Jacob’s region and 13,000 in both John’s and Faith’s regions. You will earn resistance points from completing story and side missions, liberating outposts, as well as liberating civilians, killing cult VIP’s, destroying cult property and such.

 ARCADE Player
Reach level 20 in the Arcade (Arcade only).

This trophy is earned in Arcade Mode and will unlock naturally whilst going for all other trophies, you can play Arcade Hero which awards double XP if you want. Depending on your skill level it should only take 1-2 hours to reach level 20.

It’s beneficial in the main game to complete Arcade trophies first, since all cash and perk points earned carry over to the main game, at Level 31 I had an extra 11 points and around $8,000 to carry over.

 ARCADE Hero
Play the ‘Arcade Hero’ mode 5 times (Arcade only).

Arcade Hero is accessed on the main Arcade menu by pressing  to tab over to ‘Community’. Here you can play co-op or multiplayer maps; play 5 games across both to unlock the trophy.

 ARCADE Hunter
Kill 100 enemies in Arcade Multiplayer maps (Arcade only).

This will most likely unlock naturally whilst going for Arcade Competitor. If it doesn’t, just keep playing matches until you reach 100 kills. This is all dependent on player skill, but it shouldn’t be too difficult regardless. You can also boost this.

 ARCADE Enthusiast
Successfully complete 10 featured Arcade maps in Solo or Co-op (Arcade only).

On the Arcade menu, select ‘Play Solo & Co-Op’ and then , filter maps by featured and complete any of the maps displayed, they change regularly. It should only take around 30-45 minutes, and you will unlock the trophy after your 10th completion. Back out to the Arcade menu after each completion, as selecting Replay won’t count.

 ARCADE Competitor
Win 10 featured maps in Multiplayer (Arcade only).

This trophy is the hardest one in the game; it depends on luck and skill unless you decide to boost it.

Featured maps change very frequently, there are currently 53 but aren’t all created by Ubisoft. THe annoying thing is that other players may not vote for them, and you also have to win the matches. I advise entering a lobby and if a featured map doesn’t show or had enough votes, quickly back out and enter another lobby until one shows up.

You can tell which maps are featured by pressing  then , when in the map voting screen. Use the below link for a list of all current featured maps, these change periodically.

If you are selecting a map to be voted for, press  and quickly filter the search by featured maps and select one as voting option.

You can idle this trophy if you have a turbo controller. Just leave yourself in a lobby for a few hours and eventually you will unlock the trophy as other players will sometimes vote for featured maps. Though this is obviously random, you will still level up despite not actively playing when your team wins matches as well.

As of update 1.04 this is now possible to boost with just 2 players. Both players need to vote for featured maps and trade wins; post in the boosting thread linked below if you wish to go down this route.

 The Hurk Locker
Truly bond with Hurk by destroying 15 vehicles together (Campaign only).

Before you can get this trophy, you need to recruit Hurk by completing the ‘The Prodigal Son’ quest in Jacob’s Region at Fort Drubman.

With Hurk as your Gun for Hire, aim at any vehicle and press  to command him to destroy it with his rocket launcher. You can spawn your own vehicles at a vehicle shop and have Hurk destroy 15 of them for the trophy.

 Hope County Master Angler
Acquire all 4 Fishing Rods (Campaign only).

Before attempting this trophy, you need to unlock the ‘Fisher King’ perk for 4 points. This allows you to change the lure on fishing rods so that you can capture each type of fish.

There are 4 different types of rods in the game, the first 2 of which can be purchased at any shop for $300 and $800 respectively. However, the 3rd and especially 4th rods require a more lengthy process.

In order to unlock the 3rd rod, you need to complete Skylar’s quest line at Dylan’s Master Bait Shop in Jacob’s Region; this will award you with the Wonderboy Rod, which is needed to get the final Rod, which involves beating all regions fishing records.

There is a fishing board in the main headquarters for every region which shows the weight of each fish that you need to beat. This can only be done at fishing spots on the map that are labelled ‘HARD’. Each record that you beat will get a blue ribbon next to it, so you can keep track. I have listed all records you need to beat below.

Any Region

  • Bull Trout 21 lbs
  • Golden Trout 4 lbs
  • Lake Trout 37 lbs
  • Rainbow Trout 28lbs

Holland Valley

  • Pallid Sturgeon 55 lbs
  • Paddlefish Sturgeon 112 lbs

Henbade River

  • Smallmouth bass 6 lbs
  • Largemouth Bass 8 lbs
  • Rock Bass 3 lbs

Whitetail Mountains

  • Chinook Salman 27 lbs
  • Kokanee Salmon 6 lbs
  • Arctic Grayling 3 lbs

Note: You can avoid all of the above work by having another player join your game and drop the 3rd and 4th rods for you at any dock with a rod already there. Even though they won’t show as unlocked in the shop, the game will count as you having obtained it and the trophy will pop as long as you bought the other 2 rods as well, saving you having to beat every fishing record and completing Skylar’s quests.

If you prefer to do it the regular way, there is a video below from PowerPyx showing all of the correct fish locations.

 Locked and Loaded
Buy all attachments for one weapon (Campaign only).

The cheapest weapon to buy all the attachments for is the Compound/Recurve Bow. Buy the Red Dot Sight ($795) and Marksman Sight ($900); you don’t need to buy any paint jobs, just the attachments. You can find a bow during the prologue in the Prepper Stash on Dutch’s Island.

 Ghost Kill
Perform a Headshot kill with any bow or rifle on any cultist more than 150m away (Campaign only).

There are several locations where you can get this trophy. First, buy or find a Sniper Rifle and the attachment ‘Marksman Adv-x Scope’ or ‘Long Range Scope’ depending on the rifle you have.

I managed to get this trophy when first approaching the Hope County Jail in Faith’s Region, you come here as part of the story. There will be several enemies attacking the prison that you can see form a distance, mark them using the binoculars and ensure you are more than 150 metres away from them. Shoot one of them in the head and the trophy will unlock.

There are other locations such as the Sacred Skies Youth Camp outpost in Faith’s Region; see a video below of PowerPyx getting the trophy there. Otherwise, you will have plenty of opportunities to get this.

 Extra Crafty
Craft 25 recipes (Campaign only).

You can craft recipes by holding  when in the weapon wheel to switch to the utility wheel. Here you can craft:

  • Liquor
  • Oregano
  • The Fast
  • The Furious
  • Ultimate Hunter
  • Ultimate Survivor

Make sure to loot bodies of enemies and harvest plants you come across and you will easily have enough ingredients to craft enough of these throughout the game.

 Fashion First
Purchase $1000 in clothing (Campaign only).

Clothes can be bought at any shop. Just spend $1000 on clothes for the trophy.

 Big Spender
Spend $50000 in Vehicle Shops (Campaign only).

Money can be earned in various ways: completing story missions, selling animal skins and fish, completing outposts undetected, prepper stashes and so on.

As long as you don’t spend most of your money on weapons and attachments, it will quickly rack up. Once you spend $50,000 at any vehicle shop, the trophy will unlock. Back up your save and restore it after unlocking the trophy if you want to keep your cash.

 Stocked Garage
Buy 3 vehicles to populate your garage (Campaign only).

Simply buy any 3 vehicles from a vehicle shop for this trophy. The cheapest ones are quad bikes. You will unlock this whilst going for Big Spender.

 Ace Killer
Destroy 10 planes while driving any aerial vehicle (Campaign only).

You may unlock this naturally depending on how often you navigate using planes or helicopters. You can unlock the Carmina plane by completing Nick Rye’s quest line in John’s Region, or buy your own helicopter to use.

Once you have an aerial vehicle, go to any Hanger or Boatshop and spawn a plane and shoot it with your own plane or helicopter. Spawn another and repeat until you have destroyed 10 planes. For some reason, this method doesn’t always seem to unlock the trophy if you use a helicopter to destroy the planes, so use a plane instead if you are having trouble.

 Squash and Run
Run over and kill 20 enemies (Campaign only).

There are enemies roaming around all over Hope County; you will encounter many whilst traveling from area to area. Run over 20 enemies with a car and the trophy will pop. If you want to get it done quickly, drive to an outpost and run over everyone there for plenty of kills.

 Fertilizing the Land
Using a tractor, obliterate 5 enemies (Campaign only).

The best location to get this is at Nolan’s Fly Shop outpost in Faith’s Region. It has to be a tractor with the large rotating blades at the front.

There are a couple of tractors in this outpost. Hop in one and run in to an enemy with it, which will result in an instant kill. The trophy will pop on your 5th kill.

 Death From Above
Drop a bomb from a plane and destroy or disable 4 vehicles at once (Campaign only).

It’s best to attempt this trophy after acquiring the Carmina plane by completing Nick Rye’s quest line (see A Wing And A Prayer).

I found that I could only spawn 1 vehicle at a time, as spawning another would cause the previous vehicle to de-spawn. I suggest traveling to an outpost or settlement in an un-liberated region where there should be 2-3 cars lying around, if not wait near a road so that you can commandeer cars from passers-by until you have 3 in total. Position them all around your plane and get in it. Press  and then  to drop a bomb and blow up all 3 vehicles and your plane. You will die, but the trophy will unlock.

You can try and spawn 3 vehicles from a shop, but as previously mentioned this would not work for me as they would de-spawn, but it has been reported to work for others.

 Opportunity Knocks
Using rocks or cans, distract 15 enemies (Campaign only).

You can throws rocks or cans to distract enemies whilst in stealth by pressing .

Actively use them when liberating outposts or during missions; make sure the enemy gets fully distracted by walking over to where the rock landed for it to count.

 Road Gunner
While driving or leaning out of a vehicle, kill 25 enemies (Campaign only).

For this trophy, you need to get 25 kills using any vehicle, such as a helicopter, plane, a vehicle mounted gun or by using your own weapon by leaning out of the window of a car. You can actually get this trophy during the first mission when escaping in the car with the US Marshall, though you have to restart checkpoint or die as there aren’t enough enemies. Otherwise you can spawn a Helicopter and go around shooting random enemies until the trophy pops.

 Fish Market
Sell 20 fish for cash (Campaign only).

You will catch 20 fish naturally to sell whilst working on the fishing challenges and Hope County Master Angler. If you want to get this out of the way early, just go to any fishing spot and keep catching and selling fish until the trophy unlocks.

 Where’s the Beef?
Tenderize a bull with your bare hands. To death (Campaign only).

Before you attempt this, make sure you have at least 1 ‘The Furious’ homeopathic.

Go to the large field just south of the US-Auto outpost in John’s Region. There are always a few bulls around here. Using ‘The Furious’, simply punch a bull once using  to kill it and unlock the trophy.

Note: If you have purchased Brass Knuckles, than you can no longer punch the bull to death as it counts as a melee weapon. Instead, aim down at the ground and press  to kick the bull instead, again making sure to use ‘The Furious’ before doing so.

 Ignoble Beasts
Kill a bison using only melee weapons (Campaign only).

This trophy is almost identical to Where’s the Beef?, only you need to use a melee weapon on a Bison.

There is a Bison hunting spot just east of Moonflower Trailer Park in Faith’s Region; go there and use a ‘The Furious’ homeopathic and use any melee weapon to kill a bison in one hit.

 Hitting it Off
Play 3 quests with a friend (Campaign only).

For this trophy, you must must invite a friend or be invited to play co-op. Completing 3 quests is very quick and easy; liberating outposts and finding pepper stashes is the fastest way, or side missions given by NPC’s.

 Like A Bird
Use a wingsuit to travel more than 5000m (Campaign only).

First, you need to unlock the Wingsuit Perk, which costs 4 points. When you jump or fall from a height, you can press  to open the wingsuit and glide through the air. This is cumulative and will come quickly if you use it from locations such as the top of Raptor Peak. You can also get the Air Drop perk for 10 points which gives you the option to air drop from high up when fast traveling; using the wing suit from here will allow you to travel extremely far in one drop.

 Close and Personal
Perform 25 close combat Takedown Kills (Campaign only).

Takedowns are performed by approaching an enemy undetected and pressing  when indicated to silently kill them. As long as you are actively playing stealthily, this will come very quickly. The best opportunities are when liberating outposts, as there are often 8-10 enemies to use takedowns on.

 Explosive Surprise
Kill 5 enemies with sabotaged vehicles (Campaign only).

For this trophy you need the Saboteur perk, which costs 7 points. With this perk, you can sabotage enemy vehicles by holding  over the hood to set it on fire; after 10 seconds it will explode, killing any enemies nearby. You can do this pretty much anywhere; I just waited in the middle of a road for cars to approach, then quickly sabotaged the vehicle whilst the enemies were near it so they got caught by the explosion.

 Survivalist
Purchase half of all perks available (Campaign only).

There are a total of 50 perks in the game; you need only 25 for the trophy.

You acquire perk points by completing challenges, certain quests, finding perk magazines, pepper stashes and from leveling up in Arcade mode. If you focus on the cheapest perks, this will come quickly; there are easily enough perk points in the game, so I advise unlocking whatever suits your play-style (don’t get the Guns for Hire perks, as they are almost useless).

If you are in need of more points, go find Pepper Stashes. They don’t take long to complete and award 3 points each. I completed 20 of these and completed most challenges and had most perks unlocked by the end of my game.
