INTRODUÇÃO

No Man’s Sky is a space exploration game which allows player to travel through the Universe and visit over 18 Quintillion procedurally planets, therefore it is impossible for any 2 planets to be the same. Obtaining the Platinum trophy isn’t hard but it is time consuming. The trophies in No Man’s Sky are based on the in-game achievements called Milestones, which allow players to check their progress on a particular trophy at any time. The only Milestone that doesn’t have a trophy attached to it is the one for destroying Sentinels.

PASSO A PASSO

Step 1 – Play through the game and have fun.

To be honest, the best possible solution is to just play the game, most of the trophies will pop naturally, just by following the fundamental rule of the game i.e. exploring. A good thing before following ‘main quest’ (which are basically just tips/guidelines showing on your screen from time to time) would be to spend some time on the planet on which you start, try finding some technologies to upgrade your Exosuit/Multi-tool/ship before you start travelling between planets/systems. Don’t rush things, there is no need to. Especially due to space fights, it is good to prepare first than be sorry later. See The Forever War trophy for more details.

There are currently 3 trophies which require focus from the start if you want to avoid wasting time later in the game – Galapagos, A Space Odyssey and The Sentinel. For Galapagos, always try to upload all species before leaving planet – you need 10 completely scanned planets for this trophy. A Space Odyssey requires you to warp between systems 60 times, so the best practices to keep in mind would be to always have fully-loaded Warp Engine (create Warp Cells and refill the engine as soon as you start exploring new planet), keep in mind resources needed for the particular recipes and if you have enough slots in suit/ship – always have a spare-stack of rare resources. Last but not least – The Sentinel, requires surviving 32 Sols on a planet with extreme conditions (this trophy is slightly easier than it was, as now the counter does not reset when you leave the planet – credit to Milkand SylarTheNinja for this info.). For more details, please check the corresponding trophies descriptions.

A great hint which game does not tell you directly is that technology bonuses stack so you can have multiple damage enhancements installed and stack their effects. Another thing is that you should always put in neighbouring slots technologies which are boosting the same utility. Why? Because technologies which are put in that manner combine its effects and finally you receive a better bonus. You will know you have it because the Upgrades borders will have the same color, check the following screenshots for examples:

 Galapagos
Attain ‘Encyclopedia’ status in Planet Zoology Scanned

Obtained after discovering all the animals on 10 planets.

When first setting a foot on a planet, you get access to the list of animals which can be found there (press then go to the Discoveries menu). When all the animals are discovered, you can upload the planet as a whole and receive bonus for doing so. It is very important for you to upload the planet score when completed as discovering and uploading all species but not uploading the complete planet score won’t increase the counter and pop the Encyclopedia trophy. You can upload all species by clicking on the ‘paw’ button in the top right corner of ‘Fauna’ section

To scan an animal (or anything else for that matter) you need to highlight your target by pressing and holding . When looking through the scanner on the world, you will spot different kind of markers:

  • Red dots – species close enough to scan, not yet scanned
  • Green dots – species close enough to scan, already scanned.
  • White, pulsing dots – species not close enough to scan, it is unknown if those are already scanned or not until you get close enough for white dot to change into red/green one

 A Space Odyssey
Attain ‘Discoverer’ status in Space Exploration

Obtained after using your Hyper Drive 60 times (travelling between systems).

This trophy should occur naturally while playing the game so no need to focus on it, unless you have no other trophy left.

You will obtain your Hyper Drive in the system you start the game in, by following the ‘main quest’. By progressing it, you should also obtain a recipe for Warp Cells and by exploring you should be able to find recipes for all other by-products.

Creating 1 Warp Cell requires:

  • 1 Antimatter
  • 100 Thamium9

Creating 1 Antimatter requires:

  • 1 Electron Vapor
  • 50 Heridium
  • 20 Zinc

Creating 1 Electron Vapor requires:

  • 1 Suspension Fluid
  • 100 Plutonium

Creating 1 Suspension Fluid requires:

  • 50 Carbon

Therefore creating 1 Warp Cell from scratch requires:

  • 100 Thamium9
  • 50 Heridium
  • 20 Zinc
  • 100 Plutonium
  • 50 Carbon

As you can see, all the materials are chosen in a way that every planet should have them.

Later in the game you will get new ship technologies for upgrading your Hyper Drive, however the only thing you update is the range that you can travel during a single warp jump and will always use 1 Warp Cell per jump.

It is possible to Warp between two systems over and over again and still get the Warp related trophies.

 The Diamond Age
Attain ‘Magnate’ status in Most Units Accrued

Obtained after earning 2,000,000 units.

Units are the in-game currency you will be using in this game. You can find small amounts of units during your exploration, however gathering enough for Magnate will require some grinding. There are currently two popular ways for farming units.

  1. Safe – Go on a planet and look for chunks of Gold (good price)/Emeril (best price) that are bigger than you, mine those, sell everything, profit. Having as much mining laser upgrades in your multi tool as possible reduces the time spent on mining. Tedious, however no combat is involved.
  2. Semi-dangerous – Go on a planet where Sentinels are always attacking you (you are informed about planet conditions when you first get out of your ship on that planet) and look for small bulbs on the ground. Those contain Albumen Pearls which sells for around 25,000 units each but the catch is when you loot one, the highest wanted level triggers and Sentinels instantly spawn and attack you. You can either be killing those after looting every Pearl or avoid combat, gather as much as possible and then kill/run.

None of the Money related trophies are cumulative, which means you need to have the exact amount on you in 1 lump sum for the respective trophies to pop. Credit to strangephish for this info.

 Citizen of the Galaxy
Attain ‘Babelfish’ status in Words Collected

Obtained after learning 150 Alien words.

There are three races in game i.e the Gek, Vy’keen and the Korvax. You start the game with no knowledge of those races languages, therefore when speaking with any Alien at the beginning, you will not understand the dialogues at all. Solution for that is learning words of those races (each dictionary contains over 400 words) and you can learn words by:

  • Interacting with Knowledge Stone
  • Interacting with Monoliths
  • Interacting with Encyclopedia
  • Learning from Aliens (Gek costs 10 units, Vy’keen costs 10 Mordite, Korvax costs 10 Heridium)

All above methods work only once per interacted object/alien

There is one more way to learn words:

If you follow Atlas path, every time you visit Atlas interface you will learn some words by just walking through the glowing bulbs which fill the room where your ship land

Ruins can be found during exploration, usually contains around 3 Knowledge Stones. To avoid farming this trophy, every time you visit a space station go to your right and talk with the aliens present in the room – it will cost you as per above values. It will count toward Alien encounters as well.
Credit to Cassylvania for pointing this out.

 What Mad Universe
Attain ‘Ambassador’ status in Alien Colonist Encounters

Obtained after meeting 45 Aliens.

You should meet more than enough Aliens while just exploring but you need to interact with Alien for the counter to increase. It doesn’t matter to which race the Alien belongs to as there isn’t a separate counter for each race. You can find Aliens on planets in structures or on Space Stations – Stations guarantee at least one alien present (usually around 3 stands in the right hand side room)

 The Forever War
Attain ‘Legend’ status in Ships Destroyed

Obtained after destroying 80 enemy Ships.

Space combat is much easier later in the game once you have installed upgrades for your shields and weapons. You can use () to switch between canons and mining laser. You can recharge your shields during combat by pressing the  and adding Titanium or other Oxides to them.

The fastest way to get this trophy would be to just play the game and take part in ‘S.O.S. signal’ events which appear randomly and around 15-30 pirates will appear but won’t be interested in attacking you unless you attack them. In that case, combat best practice is to:

  1. Target 1-2 enemy Ships with the Phase Beam so they focus on you
  2. Swap to your Photon Canons and destroy the enemies.
  3. Rinse and Repeat until no enemies are left, recharge your shields/weapon between shots

Another method is to ignore the Photon Cannons and install every possible upgrade for the Phase Beam and use that instead since it has a decent damage output.

If you want to provoke pirates into attacking you, then buy/find some rare materials like Albumen Pearls, Radnox or Omegon.

 The Sentinel
Attain ‘Everlasting’ status in Extreme Survival

Obtained after surviving 32 days (Sols) on a planet with extreme conditions.

This trophy is cumulative and the counter starts when you first set foot on a planet.

This is the one trophy which can be pretty hard to obtain naturally since there isn’t much to do on each planet, plus your chosen planet has to meet one of the 2 following requirements for it to be labelled as “Extreme”

  1. Extreme weather conditions
  2. Aggressive Sentinels

You are informed about planet conditions when you step out of your Ship for the first time – if any of the conditions are shown in red, then the planet is extreme and valid for obtaining this trophy.

It is best to tackle this trophy after you have upgraded your suit with life support modules. If you are on an extreme weather planet then it is good to also have deflector (Heat/Cold/Radiation/Toxin) upgrades. If you are on planet with aggressive Sentinels then shield/multi tool upgrades can be handy.

The safest but least interesting way to get this trophy is the following:

  1. Fly with your Ship until you find a structure
  2. Go into the structure and stay idle until trophy pops, while remembering to save from time to time.

You can of course explore the planet, find all the animals and farm materials but remember that those things increase your chance of getting killed due to the extreme conditions.

 Have Spacesuit – Will Travel
Attain ‘Adventurer’ status in On-foot Exploration

Obtained after travelling 100,000u on foot.

Self-explanatory, this should pop naturally while playing the game. If by any chance this is your last trophy to get, then get out of your spaceship and just walk.

General Tips:

Use  to sprint (by default).
Use  to melee and  right after that for faster vertical flying.
When you change Multi-Tool/ship, always remember to dismantle every possible technologies in the old one – you will get back at least some of the resources.

Maximum suit slots – 48
Maximum multi tool slots – 24
Maximum Ship slots – 48
Resources on each planet are infinite since everything respawns over time.
